PETER BAKAJA - BASS GUITAR AND DOUBLE BASS TEACHER

I graduated at Liszt Ferenc University in Budapest, Hungary, as BA in music and teacher of jazz bass guitar and jazz double bass.

I have been working as a bass teacher for over 18 years privately and for over 12 years in schools, including Bartók Béla Secondary Music School, Miskolc, Hungary (2005-2007); Egressy Béni Secondary Music School, Budapest, Hungary (2007-2011); All Talents Music School, London, UK (2011); The Planet Drum, London, UK (2015- )

I'm an active musician as well for more than 18 years. Throughout this time I've played in numerous bands and orchestras in almost every genre. This experience is inevitable for a bass teacher to be able to prepare students for the musical challenges they'll meet when playing in a band. You can check out my bio and my videos page for more details of my experience and examples of my playing.

I'm the bass teacher in The Planet Drum music school in London, Islington which is also a registered Trinity exam centre. For more info and to book a lesson please write to info@theplanetdrum.co.uk
or call 020 7428 9012

I also teach bass privately in North London N22. (5 mins walk from Turnpike Lane Station)

All levels and all ages are welcome.
All styles: jazz, blues, funky, pop, rock, metal etc.; all techniques.
As an experienced and qualified teacher I can assess students' level easily and tailor the lessons to their levels and aims.
